I decided to do something with a stack of rainbow squares that I had from a friend's swap. I had 200 different squares, but instead of them being I-Spy prints, they were just a nice spectrum of color. I didn't know what to do with them, and I didn't want to do another patchwork, so I decided to try Crazy Mom Quilt's zig zag quilt. I loved her tutorial and found it super easy to follow. Plus, it yielded such great results! And this would make a great I-Spy quilt for I-Spy fabrics with smaller objects on them.
By the way, would anyone be interested in participating in a swap for colored fabrics like these?
Looks great! I can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteI love it!! You know me and bright colors...Count me in if you do a swap.
ReplyDeleteI would love to do a swap! Keep us posted and I am in!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great. I still haven't done anything with mine. You would think the one who hosted the swap would actually make something with the fabrics she worked so hard to get. I was going to do a zigzag quilt also, but with triangles and white. I think I like yours better.
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You know I'm always up for one of your swaps... Count me in!
ReplyDeleteOK this is Robyn again, These are my questions about this quilt.
ReplyDelete1- Did you use all 200 squares?
2- If you did then could you make two of them?
3- How big is it?
I think that is it but if I have anymore questions I will let you know. I really love it and want to make one, my sister has twins that is why I was wondering if it would make two.
Where do you send your stuff off to for quilting?
ReplyDeleteI send them off to southern Nevada to my old HS sewing teacher who has a machine she quilts them with.
ReplyDeleteI do think which is that but if I have anymore questions I am going to let you know. I truly find it irresistible and wish to help to make one, my own cousin provides twin babies that is why I was wondering whether it will make a couple of.WOW Gold Kaufen Billig
